This artwork is about the differences within our human family that sometimes cause us to erect visible and invisible boundaries between us. In truth, we are all connected—like it or not—and our mission as human beings is to find the threads that bind us together despite the frayed and fragile edges. Learning to see the brightness of the sun in the Other’s soul is a life-long journey. The effort goes against the negative impulses of our world. but the rewards of solidarity are immense.
