This artwork is an artistic response and companion to Lynne’s photograph “Symbiosis.” It contains multiple layers of acrylic paint, paper collage, modeling paste, detritus from vegetation and a range of found art. The work reveals the artist’s emotional response to the gorgeous, living undergrowth found in the most unlovely and unlikely places. These amazing organisms have no economic value, but they have the power to enliven our senses if we are open to them.
